With the development of Internet of things, especially the rapid development of mobile Internet and the improvement of socio-economic level, people have become more sophisticated toward the quality of home furnishing, and the requirements of home comfort, security, intelligence, intelligent home system has become a trend. As "smart transition" in the industry, smart home gains a number of policy support in recent years. In February 2013, the Ministry issued "Twelfth Five-Year Development Plan of Internet of Things" and included the smart home in nine key areas of application demonstration projects. Premier Li Keqiang stressed on the implementation of the "Made in China 2025" in the government work report in March 2015, which adheres to innovation-driven, intelligent transformation. According to estimates, our smart home market will reach 139.6 billion yuan in 2018; China's smart home market will reach 350 billion yuan or more in 2020.

However, the development of the smart home industry is not yet mature in China. Smart home concept started late in China, and there is no uniform industry standards with serious fragmentation and homogenization and a lot of equipment have no interoperability. The development of Smart home industry chain is not balanced; slow development in the upper and middle reaches of the industry has impact on industry layout. In addition, the customers' customization experience is not enough, after-sales service industry has become the pain of the industry, and customer satisfaction needs to be improved. At the same time, smart home in China lack of international certification testing, which is difficult to gear to international standards and so on.
